Chapter 21.

Brent had more than his share to mull over as Rob drove along the coast road towards Tynemouth where he lived. He was actually very pleased for Rob with his new direction in life. It suited him.

‘Wow look at that view.’ Brent said enthusiastically.

‘I’m very lucky to have this flat. Cold in the winter though, when the wind blows off the sea, and you are forever painting the windows but all in all, I love it here.’

Brent was looking out from the window of a top floor flat in Queens parade Tynemouth. The view could only be described as magnificent, looking out to sea with The Priory in the foreground, the beach and rocky cliffs below. And to top it all, a local pub.

‘We can go in there for a few beers tonight if you like.’

‘Sounds good to me,’ Brent said, now quite happy with the idea of a beer. He was feeling quite relaxed as he sat in the chair by the window looking out at some children playing football on the beach. He muttered the words.

‘Rob you are a very lucky lad,’ he closed his eyes and fell nicely asleep.
